Disney Pups - Pictures!

Here are a few of the cute pics! We have them all on facebook:  Click here.

Aladdin - boy. all black

- The smallest puppy in the litter, he's very kind and loves to cuddle. He likes to play with the other puppies and wrestle around.

Alice - shorter hair, brindle, girl
- She is more independent than most of the other dogs, and enjoys to explore our back yard. She loves to give kisses to people.

Aurora - Brindle, Girl, largest!
- She's our biggest cuddler, and also the biggest dog of the litter.

Belle - black, white on chin, back feet, and stomach. female.
- She's the shy one of the group, but also extremely calm and cuddly once she gets to know you. Needs a little more personal attention than some of the other dogs.

Jasmine - female, short hair, all black. loves people!
- She's the alpha of the litter. She LOVES people and wants to be held and played with often. She has a very strong personality, but still comes across as loving.

Pocahontas - female, all black short hair, loves water!
- She loves to give kisses, and wrestle with her brothers and sister. Somewhat reserved, but loves to play with water (from our hose!)

Prince Charming - black, white on chest, long hair, male. So sweet!
- Prince charming is a very sweet puppy. He loves to be with people, but is also patient and doesn't push his way to the front of the other puppies. He's a very level headed puppy.

Tinkerbell - the tiny one, black with white under chin and chest, short hair, female
- She's the smallest girl of the group, and is somewhat shy. She likes to play with the other puppies, and does great when being held.

New Litter! :)

We just found out today we are getting a new batch of puppies! :)  EIGHT of them!!!  Wow... that is a lot of puppies!  They are coming from a high kill shelter in Ohio.  Here is the information we have received so far:

Eight puppies There are six black puppies and two brindle puppies that just came in. Look to be around 8 weeks old. I only have pictures of the six black ones at the pound as the brindle ones are being fostered. The first picture in the x-pen is of the two boys. They're fluffy but not curly. The second picture is of two short-haired girls. Third picture is of two fluffy girls that are more curly. The two brindle girls (no picture): one fluffy, one short-haired.

The puppies will be here late Friday night... I love the excitement and anticipation of fostering dogs!  So much fun!

Please leave some comments about what theme we should use to name these pups! We are worried it will be hard to tell them apart.  Since there are 6 girls and 2 boys, a women in our prayer group suggested doing Disney Princesses! :)  Any other ideas??

First Litter is done!

So, all of the puppies from the "Friends" Litter are adopted!  Rachel was the last to go on Thursday.  It was easier to give away the puppies all at once then to give away Rachel, who we kept for 2.5 weeks after the rest.. We got really attached to her.  We bought a cheap leash and collar and she started to go on walks with us, became a part of the family.  I have to admit, a few tears were shed over her.. but, all is well, and I am sure she will be loved like crazy in her new home!

Here are some goodbye pics:

Phoebe

Joey
 Chandler
 Monica
 Rosco
And a few of Rachel.. since we had her so long!

We are very excited for our next litter or dog to foster! We had a chance to get an abused female young beagle. However, another foster family decided to take her... so we are waiting on Pet Tales Rescue for our next batch!
